What to gift to dad idea from www.nst.com.myTHE touching letter written by a daughter of a Malaysia Airlines (MAS) pilot has taken the Internet by storm as it was read and shared by hundreds of thousands of netizens within two days of it being uploaded on www.nst.com.my.
The letter, which garnered nearly 200,000 views, has been shared on Facebook more than 106,000 times as of 8pm yesterday.
When it was posted on the New Straits Times' Facebook page, it received more than 1,000 "Likes".
Dr Nur Nadia Abdul Rahim had expressed her love and appreciation for her father, Captain Abdul Rahim Harun of the A380 Fleet, and wrote the aptly titled "The Flying Driver (The Pilot)" letter.
The letter was published a day before Captain Abd Rahim's birthday on March 19.
Some readers had said they were concerned over the missing MH370 flight in their comments on NST Online's Facebook post, some wishing the plane was found soon.
