A night designed for divas: Birthday bash benefits SoBo Central’s efforts

Well, almost.
Helped by husbands and city officials serving as butlers, coat checkers, servers and greeters, the attendees of the third annual Diva Night, hosted by the Red Barn at Outlook Farm.
The event was themed in the form of an extravagant birthday party to mark South Berwick’s bicentennial. All around, the trappings of a party bedecked the festive occasion: balloons, cake, sweets, drinks and a giant pinata.
The night wasn’t only about frivolity and some fun at the expense of the men in their lives, however. For organizer Rachel Martin and the rest of those in attendance, it was a chance to raise funds for SoBo Central, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting everything the town has to offer, including local charity programs such as Home for the Holidays and Kee...
